Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial odds to balance their risk, incorporating a margin for profit, while this market is driven by individuals willing to bet on their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe both teams will score, the odds on Limitless will shorten, potentially offering better value than traditional sportsbooks. However, it's important to compare the odds carefully, as sportsbooks may adjust their lines based on news or betting patterns.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both Brentford and Liverpool will score. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, creating a dynamic probability assessment. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders effectively set the odds by posting bids and asks, and the current price reflects the collective expectation of the market participants. This differs from fixed-odds betting, as the price can change right up until the event begins.

This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
