Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to express their own independent assessments of the likely outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of trading. Comparing these odds to those offered by sportsbooks can reveal where the crowd believes there is value or mispricing in the event.
