Description

These markets track the total number of goals scored by both teams during the second period of an NHL game between Boston and San Jose. Each market has a different threshold for the goal count, determining whether the outcome is 'Yes' or 'No'. The resolution depends on the official game result, with specific guidelines for postponements or cancellations.

Kalshi

The markets evaluate whether the combined number of goals scored by both teams in the second period of the Boston vs San Jose NHL game scheduled for October 13, 2026, exceeds specified thresholds: 0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals. If the cumulative goals meet or surpass the threshold for a given market, it resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. All markets exclude overtime goals from the third period and follow uniform event handling rules: if the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original time, markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants across the different threshold-based markets.
