Prediction market odds on this market reflect trader sentiment and can diverge noticeably from traditional sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks may set their odds based on broader public betting trends and adjusted margins, prediction markets let participants bet directly on their view of game length, often producing sharper or more volatile prices depending on new information and in-play dynamics.

On Kalshi and Opinion, this market is priced through separate trader pools, which can create price gaps even when the underlying question is identical. Kalshi and Opinion can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, liquidity differences may amplify small shifts in sentiment, and each platform’s user base could weigh different factors more heavily. When one venue has deeper volume, its price may appear more stable, while thinner markets can swing wider on lower trade sizes. These dynamics often produce divergent odds across platforms until a consensus forms closer to the game.
