Description

This set of markets tracks how many goals are scored in the first period of an NHL hockey game between Boston and Dallas. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of goals, determining whether the scoring exceeds that threshold. The outcomes reflect the collective performance of both teams in the opening period.

Kalshi

These markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both Boston and Dallas in the first period of their NHL game scheduled for October 20, 2026. Each market has a specific numerical threshold (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals), and resolves to 'Yes' if the combined goals exceed that threshold. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain active and resolve based on the final result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime goals in the third period are excluded from consideration for these first-period-specific markets.
