In the upcoming National League game between Boston United FC and Southend United FC, scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Boston United FC vs. Southend United FC match originally scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially when considering information not fully priced into the sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or focus on public perception, while this market aggregates diverse opinions. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing market participants and liquidity levels. It’s common to see initial differences, with prediction market prices often converging towards the true outcome as the event approaches and more information becomes available.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; increased buying pressure raises the price, while increased selling pressure lowers it, ultimately determining the implied probabilities for each possible outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Boston United vs. Southend match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official match result as reported by a recognized sports data provider, ensuring a transparent and objective determination of the market's outcome. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final, verified score.
Several factors could influence the price action in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions could significantly shift expectations. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from sports analysts, weather forecasts impacting playing conditions, and even public sentiment expressed on social media can all contribute to price movements. A surprising result in a related match or a significant shift in betting patterns at sportsbooks could also impact trading activity and alter the probabilities reflected in this market.
