Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets allow traders to directly assess probabilities. This market may show a different probability for a Boreham Wood win in the second half than a sportsbook, potentially reflecting the collective wisdom of the crowd or specialized knowledge held by traders. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before a significant amount of trading occurs, as the market discovers its price.

This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the second half of the Boreham Wood FC vs. Woking FC match. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to determine which outcome is the winner. Traders who hold shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final share price at resolution, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will forfeit their investment.

Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market before Oct 17, 2026. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either Boreham Wood or Woking could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially impacting the style of play and influencing the perceived probabilities. Furthermore, significant trading activity itself – a large purchase of shares in one outcome – can quickly move the market, especially with lower overall volume.
