If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a margin for profit. This market, driven by traders on Polymarket, represents a collective forecast. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of both markets. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks, potentially offering more accurate probabilities as the event approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective belief. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand, with increased buying pressure raising the price and increased selling pressure lowering it. This creates a dynamic and real-time estimation of the likely outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments could significantly shift the perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role. Furthermore, public sentiment and media coverage surrounding the teams’ form and potential performance could impact trading volume and price movements. A surprising result in a related match or a significant shift in betting patterns elsewhere could also influence how traders position themselves in this market.
