In the upcoming Serie A game between Bologna FC 1909 and FC Internazionale Milano, scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Bologna FC 1909 vs. FC Internazionale Milano match originally scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set lines influenced by factors like public perception and marketing, while this market relies on individuals directly wagering on the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, it might suggest the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced a particular result. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities and can be influenced by new information or shifts in sentiment before the event begins. Comparing the two can offer a more nuanced view of potential outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing different exact first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts, providing a real-time assessment of expectations. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more a particular outcome is favored, the higher its share price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing allows for a constantly updated probability assessment based on trader activity.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official, final first-half score of the Bologna FC 1909 versus FC Internazionale Milano match. Any potential delays in official result reporting could slightly postpone the resolution time, but the process will begin as soon as a definitive score is available. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.
Several factors could influence this market before the match concludes. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Bologna or Inter would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to heavily impact the style of play, could also move the market. Even pre-game analysis from respected football commentators or unexpected lineup announcements could sway trader sentiment and alter the prices of shares. Any significant information impacting the perceived likelihood of different first-half scores has the potential to move this market.
