These markets evaluate various scoring thresholds for the second half of a college football game between Boise State and Washington State. Each threshold represents a different level of scoring performance that must be exceeded for the market to resolve positively. The outcomes depend solely on the points scored after halftime, including any overtime periods.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams combined during the second half (including overtime) of the Boise St. vs Washington St. college football game scheduled for Oct 24, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold: if the combined second-half points exceed that threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For all markets, only points scored after halftime count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, trading remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi disclaims any affiliation with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own analysis. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously buying and selling contracts on Kalshi and at a sportsbook. However, it’s important to note that sportsbooks and prediction markets have different costs and motivations, leading to potential differences.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the second half of the Boise State vs. Washington State game will be used to determine whether the total points scored exceeded the threshold set by the market. The resolution will be based on official game statistics and will be publicly available after the game's completion. Traders holding contracts on the correct outcome will receive a payout of 100 cents per contract.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Boise State or Washington State teams would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to affect scoring, could also move the market. Furthermore, as the game approaches and more information becomes available – such as starting lineups or strategic adjustments – trading volume and price fluctuations are expected. Unexpected late-breaking news or shifts in public perception could also contribute to movement in this market.
