If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both venues. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking and can incorporate information not yet reflected in sportsbook odds, such as news about player injuries or team morale.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about that outcome’s probability. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's potential outcomes.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Blackburn Rovers FC vs. Wrexham AFC match will be used to determine the winning outcome. Any official result published by a recognized sports authority will serve as the basis for settlement. Traders who hold shares in the correct exact score outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in incorrect outcomes will forfeit their stake. The market will close prior to the event’s completion.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Blackburn Rovers FC or Wrexham AFC would likely cause price adjustments. Changes in team form, tactical announcements from the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected news related to team morale or off-field issues could also play a role. Monitoring these signals and analyzing their potential impact on the match outcome is crucial for informed trading in this market.
