In the upcoming EFL Championship game between Blackburn Rovers FC and West Ham United FC, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Blackburn Rovers FC vs. West Ham United FC match originally scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking and incorporate new information quickly, potentially leading to faster adjustments than sportsbooks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score, and the price of each share reflects the market's collective probability assessment. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The most probable outcome, according to current trading, is an exact score of 2-0 to Blackburn Rovers FC, currently holding 50.0% of the total volume traded. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time assessment of the event’s potential outcomes.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the Blackburn vs. West Ham match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will determine the winning outcome. Any extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered. The resolution will be based on the official match data published by reputable sports news sources and governing bodies. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final, verified result.
Several factors could influence trading in this market. Key player injuries or suspensions for either Blackburn Rovers FC or West Ham United FC would likely cause significant shifts in probabilities. Unexpected changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a preceding match, could also impact trader sentiment. Even news regarding weather conditions on match day or tactical decisions announced by the managers could move the market. Any late-breaking news related to the teams or the match itself has the potential to alter the perceived likelihood of different exact scores.
