The market resolves based on the outcome of the Blackburn vs Stoke professional EFL Championship soccer game scheduled for Nov 3, 2026. If the match is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets resolve to a fair price. Extra time and penalty shootouts do not affect the resolution.
This market resolves to "YES" if the listed club wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts, in the match scheduled for November 3, 2026, 19:45 UTC. Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, such as those seen on Polymarket and Kalshi, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the incentive structures and information aggregation methods. Sportsbooks set odds to maximize profit, while prediction markets allow participants to express their true beliefs. This market benefits from the 'wisdom of the crowd,' potentially leading to more accurate predictions, especially when significant information isn't yet reflected in sportsbook lines. However, sportsbooks have higher liquidity and often offer more diverse betting options. The 24-hour volume on this market is $1,361, indicating active trading and evolving probabilities.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Kalshi can arise from several factors. Differences in user base, trading fees, and market design all contribute. Polymarket currently favors Will Stoke City FC win on 2026-11-03? at 35.5%, while Kalshi leans toward Stoke wins at 36.0%. Furthermore, differing levels of information access and interpretation among traders on each platform can lead to divergent price discovery. The volume of trading on each platform also plays a role; higher volume generally indicates greater confidence in the price, but can also amplify short-term fluctuations.
This market resolves around Nov 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Blackburn Rovers vs. Stoke City match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider. The final score and official match statistics will be used to determine the winning outcome. Traders should monitor official sources for the definitive result, as this will be the basis for settlement on both Polymarket and Kalshi.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before it resolves. Key player injuries or suspensions for either Blackburn Rovers or Stoke City would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Unexpected changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a preceding match, could also impact trading activity. Furthermore, any news regarding managerial changes, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions on match day could move the market. Public sentiment and media coverage surrounding the teams and the match itself can also contribute to price fluctuations, as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions.
