Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's resolution logic is ambiguous, resolving to 'Yes' for either team winning, while Polymarket and Predict resolve to the specific winning team's name.Hero tip: Be cautious when comparing markets across platforms. Kalshi's 'Yes' outcome doesn't directly translate to a team winning. Focus on the implied probabilities and understand the differences in resolution criteria.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: The market resolves to the winning team's name (Binghamton Bearcats or Saint Peter's Peacocks). "If the Binghamton Bearcats win, the market will resolve to "Binghamton Bearcats". If the Saint Peter's Peacocks win, the market will resolve to "Saint Peter's Peacocks".
  • Kalshi: The market resolves to 'Yes' if either team wins. "If Saint Peter's wins...then the market resolves to Yes. If Binghamton wins...then the market resolves to Yes."
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
