This event tracks whether each team achieves a specified number of champion kills in the first game of a high-stakes esports match. The outcome depends on the in-game performance of Bilibili Gaming and Dplus KIA during their opening game at the Worlds 2026 tournament. Success is measured by reaching predefined kill thresholds set for each team.
The event resolves based on whether Bilibili Gaming records at least 15 champion kills or Dplus KIA records at least 12 champion kills in Game 1 of the Worlds 2026 match scheduled for November 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST. If the match is postponed beyond 48 hours of its original start time, cancelled before any relevant statistics are recorded, or forfeited before play begins, the market resolves to the last fair price. If the game is forfeited after play has started, or shortened but completed with official statistics, the market resolves based on the officially recorded kills at the time of conclusion. If the game is replayed, only statistics from officially counted play are considered. In all cases, Kalshi disclaims any affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It’s common to see discrepancies emerge, especially when there’s significant public sentiment or information not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. Comparing the two can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the expected outcome of the match.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing different possible outcomes for the total kills in the game. The price of each contract reflects the market’s probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The market depth—the number of buy and sell orders at different price points—indicates the strength of conviction behind various predictions.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final total kills scored by both teams in Game 1 of the Bilibili Gaming versus Dplus KIA match will determine the result. The resolution will be based on official game statistics released by the League of Legends tournament organizers. Traders will be able to see the final result and whether their predictions were accurate following the conclusion of the game.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for either Bilibili Gaming or Dplus KIA could shift expectations. Unexpected announcements about the game’s conditions, such as patch updates or map adjustments, could also have an impact. Furthermore, the performance of these teams in other recent matches, and any analysis from esports commentators, could sway trader sentiment and lead to price fluctuations in this market.
