PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms consistently define resolution based on official match results and a cancellation/abandonment deadline of November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers (Big Bash League).

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves based on the official winner of the match, including results determined by DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or Super Over.
  • If the match is canceled, does not start, or is abandoned without an official result by November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves 50-50 (except for the toss market).
  • The toss market resolves based on the official toss winner, or 50-50 if no official toss winner is recorded and the match is cancelled/abandoned.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Tie: If the match ends tied and a tiebreak (e.g., Super Over) is used, the winner of the tiebreak determines the resolution. If no tiebreak is used, the market resolves 50-50.
  • Abandoned Match: If the match is abandoned before a winner is determined, the market resolves 50-50, provided the abandonment occurs before November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the official result is published by the governing body, or on November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET if the match is not completed by then. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

In the upcoming Big Bash League, Women cricket match between Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes, originally scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 3:10 AM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the match is canceled, does not start by Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, the market will resolve 50-50. If the match otherwise is completed without a winner, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
