PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms consistently define a win as including outcomes determined by various on-field rulings and tiebreakers, and both handle postponements and cancellations similarly.Primary resolution logic: https://www.bigbash.com.au/

Core resolution logic:

  • A win for either team (Perth Scorchers or Melbourne Renegades) resolves the market to 'Yes'.
  • DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeits, and Super Overs are considered ordinary wins.
  • Tied matches resolve 50-50 unless a tiebreak is used.
  • Postponement extends the market until completion; permanent cancellation resolves 50-50.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Abandoned Match: If the match is abandoned without a result, the market resolves to 50-50.
  • No Official Toss: For the 'Who wins the toss?' market, if no official toss is recorded, the market resolves 50-50.
  • Match Not Completed: For the 'Completed match?' market, if an official result is not declared, the market resolves to 'No'.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the official match statistics are published by bigbash.com.au, or within 2 hours of the event's conclusion if official statistics are unavailable, using a consensus of credible reporting. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the cricket match between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Renegades scheduled for October 31 2026 at 4:10 AM ET in Big Bash League, Women. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Kalshi

The market resolves to Yes if the specified team wins the match as scheduled. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner, all markets resolve to $0.50. If a forfeit, disqualification, or concession occurs before the match begins, markets resolve to $0.50. If it occurs after play begins and the governing body declares a winner, the market resolves based on that result. If play begins but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.
