Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own research and insights. If there's a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds, especially when there’s strong public information available or a clear edge to be found. This comparison can provide valuable information for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each possible exact score. As more shares are traded, the price of each share adjusts to reflect the collective market assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome drives up its price, increasing its implied probability, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market efficiently incorporates new information.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
