On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates the market's aggregate assessment of which team is most likely to score first. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the latest information and collective intelligence of its participants.
This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by which team scores the first goal in the Belize vs. French Guiana match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources. The platform will then finalize the settlement of the market, distributing payouts to traders holding winning shares. It's important to monitor the event closely as it approaches the resolution date.
