In the upcoming UEFA Women's World Cup Qualification game between Belarus and Italy, scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 12:15 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Belarus vs. Italy match originally scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 12:15 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to note that prediction market odds are dynamic and can shift rapidly based on new information and trading activity.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders can buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective assessment of the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the latest information and sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares in that outcome, driving up its price and decreasing the implied probability of other scores.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official score of the Belarus vs. Italy match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing sporting body, ensuring an objective and transparent determination of the winning outcome. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the final result of the game, and the market will close once the outcome is officially verified.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either Belarus or Italy could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue could also play a role, potentially influencing the style of play and final score. Furthermore, major upsets in other related matches or shifts in public perception of the teams’ form could all contribute to price movements in this market, as traders react to new information and reassess the probabilities of different outcomes.
