On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the different outcomes. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand among traders on Polymarket, and reflects their collective assessment of the likelihood of each fighter winning.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Belanchyk vs. Hel fight, as declared by the relevant boxing authorities. The market will determine which fighter won the bout, and shares will pay out accordingly to those who correctly predicted the winner. The final result will be sourced from established sports news outlets and official fight records.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and price movement in this market. News regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or even pre-fight press conference statements could all impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the fight's location or rules could also lead to shifts in the odds. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, might also play a role, though this market is ultimately driven by the actions of traders on Polymarket. Any significant development related to either fighter has the potential to move the market.
