In the upcoming Scottish Cup game between Beith Juniors FC and Huntly FC, scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Beith Juniors FC vs. Huntly FC match originally scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust, reflecting the collective prediction. The market's efficiency stems from the incentive for traders to accurately assess the likelihood of each result, as profitable trading depends on correct predictions. This creates a dynamic and informative pricing signal.

Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding team form, key player injuries, or changes in coaching staff could significantly impact predictions. Weather conditions on match day, particularly if they favor one team’s playing style, could also be a catalyst. Unexpected announcements about player availability or tactical changes right before the game could lead to rapid price adjustments. Public sentiment, reflected in social media or expert analysis, can also play a role, although the market’s weighting of such signals is determined by trader behavior.
