In the upcoming Chinese Super League game between Beijing Guoan FC and Chongqing Tonglianglong FC, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 2:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Beijing Guoan FC vs. Chongqing Tonglianglong FC match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 2:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks, reflecting the 'wisdom of the crowd' versus the assessments of professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their risk and ensure profit, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. Often, prediction markets can be more accurate than sportsbook odds, especially when there is significant public information available. However, sportsbook odds may react faster to breaking news or injuries, while this market relies on traders actively updating their positions. It's useful to compare both to get a broader perspective.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds reflect the collective intelligence of all participants. The current top outcome, as indicated by share price, has a chance percentage of 50.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Beijing Guoan vs. Chongqing match—the exact score—will be used to determine the winning shares. The resolution will be based on the official match data released by the governing football league. Any disputes regarding the official result will be addressed according to Polymarket’s standard procedures, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either the Beijing Guoan or Chongqing team would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or extreme heat, could also influence the expected outcome. Unexpected tactical decisions announced by the coaches, or even late-breaking news about team morale, could prompt traders to adjust their positions. Major upsets in other recent matches involving these teams could also affect sentiment and trading volume.
