Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market relies on individuals freely expressing their beliefs through trading. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public opinion diverges from expert forecasts. It’s common to see prediction markets incorporate information and adjust prices more rapidly to new developments than sportsbooks, though both aim to accurately predict the eventual result.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of a contract reflects the market’s probability assessment of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy a contract, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth and trading activity determine the liquidity and price discovery process. Traders aim to profit by accurately predicting the outcome and capitalizing on price discrepancies, ultimately driving the market towards an efficient price.
This market resolves around Nov 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Be`er Sheva vs OFI Crete match, as determined by the governing sporting body. The platform will verify the final score and declare the winning outcome based on this publicly available information.
