Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, and can sometimes differ from those offered by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their odds to balance risk and profit, incorporating a margin for themselves, while this market represents the probability assigned by traders willing to put their money behind their beliefs. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly deviates from the sportsbook's initial assessment. Examining these differences can offer insights into where the crowd believes the value lies.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective probability of both Bayern München and RB Leipzig scoring. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions, and the price converges towards what they believe is the true probability of the event occurring. The current price indicates the implied probability of a 'yes' outcome, with higher prices suggesting a greater likelihood.

This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on whether both Bayern München and RB Leipzig score at least one goal during the match. Official match data from reputable sports news sources will be used to determine the final result. The market will settle to 100% if both teams score, and 0% if either team fails to find the net. No further information on settlement is available.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Bayern München or RB Leipzig would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements close to kickoff could also trigger price movements, as could any major upsets in other matches involving these teams that affect morale or motivation. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding potential shifts in this market.
