Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying levels of market participation. If you find a significant difference between the odds on Polymarket and those offered by sportsbooks, it might indicate an opportunity for value betting, depending on your own assessment of the match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring.
