This prediction group concerns which team – Australia Women or Bangladesh Women – will have the highest individual run scorer in their upcoming ODI cricket match. The market also includes an option for a draw if the highest scores are tied between players from both teams.
This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Australia Women and Bangladesh Women scheduled for October 10 2026 at 11:50 PM ET in Bangladesh Women Tour of Australia ODIs. The outcome corresponding to Australia Women will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Australia Women. The outcome corresponding to Bangladesh Women will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Bangladesh Women. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.
The event resolves based on the official winner of the women's One Day International cricket match between Australia and Bangladesh, as determined by the governing body. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, cancellation, or insufficient play to determine a winner, all markets resolve at $0.50. In cases of forfeit, disqualification, or concession, if the event occurs before play begins, markets also resolve at $0.50. However, if such an event occurs after the match starts and the governing body declares a winner, the market resolves according to that official result.
Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public opinion diverges from expert predictions. The implied probabilities in this market are derived from real money trading, making them a unique indicator of potential outcomes. It’s often useful to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
