This market refers to the cricket match between Australia Women and Bangladesh Women scheduled for October 13 2026 at 11:50 PM ET in Bangladesh Women Tour of Australia ODIs. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates a wider range of information and opinions. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. Comparing the odds can be a useful exercise to identify potential value or mispricing in either market, but remember that each represents a different way of assessing probabilities.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a specific outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a dynamic and real-time assessment of the series’ potential results. The current trading volume indicates the level of interest and conviction surrounding different possibilities within this market.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the Australia vs Bangladesh ODI series is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results published by the relevant sporting authorities, determining which team wins the series. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final share price at the time of resolution. This provides a clear and objective determination of the market’s outcome.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, weather forecasts affecting match schedules, or significant performance shifts during the ongoing series could all lead to price movements. Unexpected results in early matches, or strong performances by key players, are likely to cause traders to reassess their probabilities and adjust their positions accordingly. Public sentiment and expert analysis also play a role, potentially driving further fluctuations in the market.
