This market refers to the cricket match between Australia Women and Bangladesh Women scheduled for October 8 2026 at 11:50 PM ET in Bangladesh Women Tour of Australia ODIs. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an event occurring, as determined by traders. This market may show a different probability for a particular outcome than you’d find at a sportsbook, potentially offering value if you believe the market is mispricing the event. It's important to compare both to form a well-rounded view, considering that each source has its own biases and strengths.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes of the Australia vs Bangladesh ODI series, and the price of each share reflects the market's current assessment of that outcome's probability. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to find an equilibrium point where buyers and sellers agree. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by new information, shifts in sentiment, and the actions of other traders participating in the market. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of its participants.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results of the Australia vs Bangladesh ODI series, as determined by the governing body of the sport. The market will then settle to reflect the actual outcome, with shares paying out based on the final results. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will forfeit their investment. It’s important to monitor the event’s progress leading up to the resolution date.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting match schedules could cause significant shifts in sentiment. Unexpected performance in early matches of the series will also likely move the market, as traders adjust their predictions based on observed results. Furthermore, broader news events or shifts in public opinion related to either team could also play a role. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for anyone looking to trade in this market effectively.
