These markets assess whether both Baltimore and Cleveland will score a specified number of points or more in their football game on October 18, 2026. Each market has a different threshold for the minimum points both teams need to score for the outcome to be considered a success. The resolution depends on the official game result, including any points scored in overtime.
The markets resolve based on whether both Baltimore and Cleveland score at least a specified number of points (14, 21, 28, or 35) in their Pro Football game originally scheduled for October 18, 2026. Points scored in overtime count toward the total. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original scheduled time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, the market resolves to a fair price. Each market has its own point threshold, and all share the same secondary rules regarding postponement and resolution methodology. Kalshi is not affiliated with the Governing League, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and perspectives beyond those considered by traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbook odds are set by professional oddsmakers, this market allows anyone to trade and express their beliefs about the likelihood of both teams scoring. This can sometimes lead to differences, as the collective intelligence of the prediction market may identify factors that sportsbooks haven’t fully accounted for. It’s common to see prediction markets offer more nuanced probabilities than simple win/loss odds found at sportsbooks.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing the ‘Yes’ outcome—that both teams will score—and the price fluctuates based on supply and demand. As more people buy ‘Yes’ contracts, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price represents the market’s aggregate assessment of the likelihood of both teams finding the endzone, and reflects the combined insights of all participants trading in this specific market.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on whether both the Baltimore and Cleveland teams score at least one point during the scheduled game. The official game results, as reported by a trusted sports data source, will determine the final outcome of this market. Any scoring plays, including touchdowns, field goals, and safeties, will be considered in determining whether both teams have scored.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the game concludes. News regarding key player injuries on either the Baltimore or Cleveland offenses would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if severe weather is predicted, could also shift expectations about scoring potential. Late-breaking news about coaching strategies or team dynamics could also move the market. Finally, any significant shifts in public sentiment, as reflected by betting activity on Kalshi, will contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
