If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, which can differ from sportsbook odds influenced by house biases or public perception. While sportsbooks set initial lines to balance betting action, this market allows individuals to express their independent beliefs about the outcome. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Comparing the implied probabilities from this market to those offered by sportsbooks can reveal where the crowd and professional oddsmakers disagree on the likely final score.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes, and the price of each share reflects the market's current assessment of its probability. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective forecast. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will bid up the price of shares representing that outcome, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information available.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Changes in weather conditions, especially if they are expected to heavily impact the style of play, could also move the market. Additionally, any pre-match analysis from reputable soccer experts or unexpected team lineup announcements could lead to traders adjusting their positions and altering the prices of shares in this market.
