Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms utilize identical resolution criteria based on the final game score and a no-result provision for cancellation or abandonment.Primary resolution logic: https://www.ncaa.com

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves to the team that wins the game, including any overtime periods.
  • If the game is canceled, does not start by November 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, the market resolves to a 50-50 split.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Tie Game: While extremely unlikely in college basketball, if a tie occurs and no further play is possible to break the tie, the market will likely resolve as a no-result (50-50 split) based on the abandonment clause.
  • Game Postponement: If the game is postponed to a date after November 8, 2026, the no-result condition no longer applies, and the market will resolve based on the eventual winner.
Timing: Resolution will occur once the official final score is reported on https://www.ncaa.com, or on November 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET if the game has not started or has been abandoned. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
