Description

This prediction market asks which team will score the first goal in a soccer match between Austin FC and Real Salt Lake. The market considers goals scored within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shoot-outs. A 'Neither' outcome is possible if no team scores during that period.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict use identical resolution criteria, including the definition of 'first goal', time frame, and handling of postponements/cancellations.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with fallback to Flashscore, then Sofascore, and finally consensus of credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The first team to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time determines the winner.
  • If no team scores within the specified timeframe, the market resolves to 'Neither'.
  • Postponed games will have resolution delayed until completion.
  • Canceled games (with no makeup game) resolve to 'Neither'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours of the match's conclusion, Flashscore data will be used. If Flashscore data is unavailable, Sofascore data will be used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting will be used. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market will resolve 50-50 (or 'Draw' where applicable).
  • Score Revisions: Revisions to officially declared final scores made *after* market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the completion of the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, with a maximum delay of 24 hours to allow for data verification. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
