This set of markets tracks how many points Auburn and Tennessee will score together in the second half of their college football game. Each market has a different threshold, allowing participants to speculate on various levels of scoring intensity in the latter half of the match.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams combined during the second half (including overtime) of the Auburn vs Tennessee college football game scheduled for October 3, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold: if the combined second-half points exceed the stated threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For all markets, only points scored in the second half count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which can be influenced by factors like house bias or initial public perception. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to express their own independent assessments of the likely outcome. Discrepancies can arise from differing information or interpretations of team strengths, injuries, and other game-day factors. It's common to see this market adjust rapidly as new information becomes available, potentially leading to odds that diverge from, or converge with, those offered by sportsbooks.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the final total score of the second half. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to provide accurate predictions, as profitable traders are those who correctly assess the likelihood of various outcomes. As more traders participate, the price converges towards what the collective market believes is the true probability, offering a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event’s potential.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final total score of the second half of the Auburn vs Tennessee game will be used to determine the winning contracts. This resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring a transparent and verifiable result. Traders will be able to see the final outcome reflected in their account balances shortly after the game concludes and the official results are published.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries on either the Auburn or Tennessee teams would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to affect scoring, could also move the market. In-game performance during the first half, such as a dominant offensive showing by one team, could shift trader sentiment and alter the implied probabilities. Any significant news or developments related to the teams or the game itself have the potential to influence trading activity and move this market.
