These markets track the total points scored by both teams in the second half of an upcoming college football game, including any overtime periods. Each market has a different threshold for the total points needed to resolve as 'Yes'.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the second half (including overtime) of the Auburn vs Georgia college football game scheduled for October 17, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold: if the combined second-half points exceed the threshold, the market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. For all markets, only points scored in the second half count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals trading based on their own information and analysis. If a significant number of traders believe the sportsbook’s line is inaccurate, the price on Kalshi will move accordingly, potentially offering a different implied probability than what’s available at sportsbooks. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the Auburn-Georgia 2nd half total. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy contracts predicting a certain outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts based on supply and demand, meaning the price changes with each trade. This creates a real-time assessment of the likelihood of different point totals in the second half, driven entirely by trader activity.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the second half of the Auburn versus Georgia football game will be used to determine whether the total points scored were over or under the relevant threshold. The resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring an objective and transparent outcome. Traders holding contracts on the correct side will receive a payout, while those on the incorrect side will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Auburn or Georgia would likely cause significant movement, as it impacts expected scoring. Weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to be unfavorable for passing or kicking, could also shift the market. Furthermore, in-game developments during the first half, such as a dominant offensive performance by one team, could lead traders to adjust their expectations for the second half total. Public sentiment and analysis from sports commentators may also play a role in influencing trading activity.
