This event tracks passing yard milestones for specific quarterbacks in an upcoming football game between Atlanta and Tampa Bay. The outcome depends on whether the designated player achieves various passing yard thresholds during the full game, including overtime.
All contracts are designated as protected, meaning if a player participates in at least one play during the first half but does not participate in any play after the first half (including overtime), the contract resolves to the fair price prior to kickoff unless the player meets the required passing yards, in which case it settles based on actual statistics. If the player participates in any play after the first half, the contract settles based on actual statistics regardless of first-half participation. Participation in a play nullified by penalty does not count, and a player who never participates remains subject to the fair price non-participation rule. The protected designation applies only to full-game contracts with an above or at-least payout criterion, and this event uses full game passing yards including overtime.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the likelihood of different outcomes. If a significant number of people believe an outcome is more likely than a sportsbook suggests, the price in this market will move accordingly. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in opinion, offering potential value for informed traders.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official passing yardage totals from the game are verifiable from credible public reporting. The final passing yardage statistics, as reported by the official NFL sources, will determine which contracts pay out and at what value. Traders will be able to see the final result and any associated payouts shortly after the game concludes and the official data is released. This ensures a transparent and verifiable resolution process for all participants.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding injuries to key quarterbacks or wide receivers on either team would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly conditions expected to favor either the passing or running game, could also impact trading activity. Unexpected reports about team strategies or coaching decisions could also play a role. Furthermore, large volume trades from informed participants could signal shifts in market sentiment and trigger further price adjustments before Nov 1, 2026.
