This set of markets tracks whether both the Atlanta and New Orleans teams score specific point thresholds in their upcoming Pro Football game. Each market corresponds to a different minimum point requirement that both teams must meet for the outcome to be considered successful. The resolution depends solely on the final scores, including any overtime points.
These markets resolve based on whether both Atlanta and New Orleans score at least the specified point thresholds in their Pro Football game scheduled for October 5, 2026. Each market has a distinct threshold: 14+, 21+, 28+, or 35+ points. For any market to resolve as 'Yes,' both teams must independently meet or exceed its threshold. Points scored in overtime count toward the total. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, the market resolves to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the Governing League, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own analysis. If sportsbook odds suggest a high probability of both teams scoring, you might see a higher price for 'yes' contracts in this market, indicating greater confidence from traders. However, discrepancies can arise due to differing information or risk assessments, and it’s important to compare both to inform your decisions.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing the two possible outcomes: both teams score, or one or both teams fail to score. The price of a contract reflects the market’s probability of that outcome occurring; a higher price indicates a greater perceived chance. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders set the odds by placing bids and asks, and the market price fluctuates based on supply and demand. The current price will move based on new information and trader sentiment leading up to the game.
This market resolves around Oct 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on the official scoring records for the Atlanta versus New Orleans game. If both teams score at least one point, the 'yes' contracts will pay out. If either team fails to score, the 'no' contracts will pay out. The final result will be determined by the official game statistics and verified against credible public sources.
Several factors could influence the price of contracts in this market. News regarding key player injuries for either the Atlanta or New Orleans teams would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if severe weather is predicted, could also shift expectations about scoring potential. Unexpected announcements about coaching strategies or team dynamics could also move the market. Finally, any significant shifts in public sentiment, as reflected in sports news and analysis, could influence trading activity and the price of contracts in this market.
