The event tracks individual player performance in a specific baseball game, focusing on the number of hits achieved by selected players from both teams. Outcomes are determined based on whether each player records a certain number of hits during their at-bats. The settlement considers player participation and starting status, ensuring fair resolution even if players are substituted or do not bat.
Each market resolves to Yes if the specified player records the exact number of hits or more as defined in the primary rule during the game. If the player is scratched, not in the starting lineup, or fails to record a plate appearance, the market resolves to the fair market price. Pinch-hit at-bats are excluded from hit counts. Markets settle based solely on hits recorded while the player is in the starting lineup and has at least one plate appearance. All markets are independent, and the outcome for each player is evaluated separately according to their respective hit thresholds.
