Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders on Predict, aims to reflect the true probability of each outcome, though discrepancies can occur due to differing information or risk assessments. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than traditional sportsbooks, potentially offering value for informed traders.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each possible outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome, as perceived by the crowd. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe Athletic Club will score first, for example, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly adjust to new information and changing expectations about the match.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team—Athletic Club or Getafe CF—scores the first goal in the match. The resolution will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources. Trading will cease once the outcome is known, and shares will pay out based on the final result.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Athletic Club or Getafe CF would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could all impact trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements close to kickoff are also common catalysts. Monitoring these signals can help you understand potential shifts in the probabilities reflected in this market.
