Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the collective wisdom of traders and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, incorporating a profit margin, while this market is driven purely by participants’ beliefs about the event’s outcome. If a significant discrepancy emerges between this market and sportsbook odds, it may indicate that prediction market traders possess information or insights not yet fully priced into the sportsbook lines. However, it’s important to note that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees the actual result.

This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on which team, if any, scores the first goal in the second half of the Atalanta BC versus Frosinone Calcio match. If neither team scores in the second half, the market will resolve as ‘No Goal Scored’. The official match records will be used to determine the outcome, and the result will be publicly available following the conclusion of the game.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Atalanta BC or Frosinone Calcio would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, significant betting activity or large trades on Polymarket itself can create momentum and move the market. Unexpected lineup announcements close to kickoff are also likely to trigger price adjustments as traders react to the new information.
