Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbook lines, especially as event time approaches and more information becomes available.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. The price of a contract reflects the current market consensus. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly updating their assessments, leading to dynamic price adjustments. The more traders who believe a particular team will win, the higher the price of contracts representing that outcome will rise, and vice versa. This creates a real-time probability assessment driven by market participants.

This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner of Map 2 in the Astralis vs fnatic match will determine the resolution. The outcome will be based on the official result declared by the tournament organizers. It’s important to note that any potential delays or changes to the match schedule could impact the exact resolution time, but it will remain anchored to the official tournament results as reported by trusted sources.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for Astralis or fnatic could significantly impact trader sentiment.
