In the upcoming Premier League game between Aston Villa FC and Manchester City FC, scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 7:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Aston Villa FC vs. Manchester City FC match originally scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 7:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than those offered by traditional sportsbooks, especially closer to the event date. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and perspectives than a sportsbook’s team of analysts. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer more favorable value, particularly if they are slow to adjust to new information. Comparing the two can be a useful strategy for identifying potential arbitrage opportunities, but remember that this market reflects the collective forecast of traders on Predict.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of traders about the probability of that outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy contracts for a particular score, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the odds reflect the most up-to-date information available and the evolving sentiment of the market participants. The most actively traded outcome currently has a volume of $95,754.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official exact score of the Aston Villa vs. Man City match will be used to determine the winning contract. Any delays in the official reporting of the score may cause a corresponding delay in the market’s resolution. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand when this market will be settled. The outcome will be determined by the final score as recorded by official match authorities.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Aston Villa or Manchester City would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced by the managers could also influence trading activity. Furthermore, major weather events or other unforeseen circumstances that could affect the match conditions could lead to price fluctuations. Finally, large-volume trades by individual participants on Predict could also create short-term volatility in this market.
