In the upcoming Premier League game between Aston Villa FC and Brentford FC, scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Aston Villa FC vs. Brentford FC match originally scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their money behind their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Predict will shift accordingly. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional sportsbooks in accuracy, especially as the event approaches.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact scoreline. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand. As more people buy contracts for a specific score, its price increases, and the implied probability of that outcome rises. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and reflect the collective intelligence of the traders participating in this market.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Aston Villa vs. Brentford match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact scoreline as officially recorded will determine the winning contract. Traders who correctly predicted the final score will receive a payout based on the closing price of their chosen contract. It's important to monitor official sources for the confirmed result to understand the market's resolution.
Several factors could influence this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Aston Villa or Brentford would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Tactical announcements from either manager, such as confirmed starting lineups or formation changes, could also impact trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day could play a role, as they might affect the style of play and potential scoreline. Unexpected events during the match itself, like early red cards, will also move this market.
