All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to express their independent beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees the actual result.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s depth, indicated by the volume of shares traded, also influences price stability and liquidity, allowing for larger trades without significant price impact.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Associação Chapecoense de Futebol versus Mirassol FC match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Any disputes regarding the official score will be resolved using widely accepted sports data sources and reporting. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be entitled to a payout based on the market’s pricing at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the probabilities in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Chapecoense or Mirassol could significantly shift expectations. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain, might affect the style of play and scoring potential. Additionally, any pre-match analysis from reputable sports analysts or unexpected lineup announcements could cause traders to reassess their predictions, leading to price movements and changes in the overall market sentiment. These factors will all contribute to the dynamic pricing of this market.
