All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to balance their book, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than the sportsbook suggests, the price of that outcome will decrease, and its implied probability will increase. It's common to see prediction markets outperform traditional forecasts, especially as more information becomes available closer to the event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract reflects the market's current assessment of the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate and express their views, the prices adjust accordingly. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders buy contracts for a specific outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of its participants.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC versus UC Sampdoria match will be used to determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a trusted sports data source, ensuring a transparent and accurate settlement. Traders holding the contract corresponding to the correct final score will receive a payout.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in starting lineups would likely cause significant shifts in probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions at the stadium could also play a role. Furthermore, in-match events, such as early goals or red cards, would immediately impact the market as traders react to the unfolding situation. Public sentiment and analysis from sports commentators could also contribute to price movements, though to a lesser extent than concrete events.
