The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and risk assessment, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs about the Ascoli vs. Palermo match outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in opinion. It's common to see prediction markets incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, especially regarding late-breaking news or shifts in sentiment.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined entirely by supply and demand among traders on Polymarket, and there are no external factors influencing the pricing process.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Ascoli vs. Palermo match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing soccer authorities. The market will determine which exact score was the final result of the match, and shares will be settled accordingly. The outcome is determined by the official result of the match, not by any subjective interpretation or individual assessment.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, suspensions, or changes in team lineups for either Ascoli or Palermo could significantly impact the perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue, or even tactical adjustments announced by the coaches, could also move the market. Furthermore, general shifts in public sentiment, or even large trades by influential participants on Polymarket, could cause noticeable price fluctuations before the match concludes.
