However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it's important to note that sportsbooks and this market may converge as the event approaches and more information becomes available.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are determined by supply and demand – if more traders believe a particular score is likely, the price of shares representing that score will increase. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and trader sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly impact perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match analysis from respected football commentators, could also shift sentiment. Furthermore, large volume trades from influential traders on Polymarket could create short-term price fluctuations, and overall shifts in public opinion regarding the teams' form could also affect the market.
