Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market represents a collective forecast from traders who have skin in the game. If a significant discrepancy emerges between this market and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the crowd believes the sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
