In the upcoming Serie A game between AS Roma and US Sassuolo Calcio, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the AS Roma vs. US Sassuolo Calcio match originally scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Serie A (https://www.legaseriea.it/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the 'wisdom of the crowd,' potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, biases, or simply variations in how each assesses the probability of an event. It's common to see prediction markets move more quickly to incorporate new information than sportsbooks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each first-half exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment of the event's likelihood. Currently, the most popular outcome, AS Roma 0 - 1 US Sassuolo Calcio, has a chance percentage of 50.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the official result of the first half of the AS Roma vs Sassuolo match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the exact score at the end of the first half, as reported by official sources. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the result is officially confirmed and reflected in the market's settlement.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team lineups, injuries to key players on either AS Roma or US Sassuolo, or changes in weather conditions could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators or significant betting patterns observed elsewhere could also impact prices. Furthermore, as the match approaches, even minor updates about team formations or tactical approaches could lead to fluctuations in the market as traders refine their predictions.
