Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official outcome of the AS Roma vs. US Lecce match scheduled for March 22, 2026, considering only the result within 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body (Lega Serie A) or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Exactly one of three mutually exclusive outcomes will occur: AS Roma wins, US Lecce wins, or the match ends in a draw.
Polymarket markets resolve YES/NO individually (Roma Win YES, Lecce Win YES, Draw YES) based on which outcome occurs.
Kalshi markets resolve YES if any of the three outcomes occur (Roma wins, Lecce wins, or Tie), meaning all three Kalshi markets will resolve YES regardless of result.
Resolution scope is limited to the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time; extra time and penalties are excluded.
If the match is postponed, both platforms keep markets open until completion.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket Draw market resolves YES and Roma/Lecce Win markets resolve NO; Kalshi markets all resolve YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no rescheduled make-up game, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES while win markets resolve NO. Kalshi's markets all resolve YES since at least one outcome (cancellation treated as tie-like resolution) occurs.
Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets on both platforms remain open and unresolved until the match is completed on its new date.
Resolution Source Fallback: If official Lega Serie A statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, both platforms permit resolution based on consensus of credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the match result by Lega Serie A or event organizers, or within 2 hours post-match via credible reporting consensus if official sources are delayed.
